What I want this Wednesday is:

DRESSES!

I just bought this plunging v-neck dress for $20 in black, and I am stoked to get it. Seems like it will be very versatile and wearable.

But I also have my eye on this sweaterdress, because I can’t resist sweaterdresses!

So much for being grounded, eh?

I’ve been in love with these Jimmy Choos for a very long time. I love the keyhole, I love the back zip on the heel and the way that that will keep your foot firmly in place. I do not love the price so much.

Stumbled across these today, and I think they’re an awesome representation of most things I loved about the Jimmy Choos, and at 1/20th the price! Plus, a much more wearable, versatile black.

Today’s What I Want Wednesday is more along the lines of “What I Want but Cannot Find” Wednesday.

Back in April, I was at a Nordstrom Rack in Seattle and I found this fabulous oversized green convertible clutch by L.A.M.B. The tab with the L on it is magnetized, so you can use the bag as a clutch, with the L tab going through the handle, or you can carry it as a tote bag. How nifty is that? And you really can’t beat that green.

Here’s the lesson: when you see something awesome at Nordstrom Rack, BUY IT. In this case, I’ve been unable to find it since.

Still looking from time to time. Never give up the dream!

Ok. I try to only seriously consider buying reasonably priced clothing items. I really do. But I’ve been obsessing over this dress for awhile and I just can’t get it out of my head. I love the cut, I love the bright colors, the pattern and the back. At least it is 40% off. Another 6pm.com find!

Length on the mannequin is a bit weird, but I’m only 5’4 1/2″ so it should hit me nicely at the ankle.

Today’s What I Want Wednesday comes from New York & Company’s Outerwear. Just look at that stunning blue, the dramatic collar. This is a coat that makes a statement, and I want it to speak for me!

Unfortunately, I live in Minnesota, and a pretty little coat like this just won’t help me survive our frozen tundra winters. Instead, I’ll most likely be bundled up in something unattractive and embarrassing.

I’d much rather live in sweaterdresses. I am in love with this one. Ooooh, that grey dress with this blue coat? Stunning (if I do say so myself).

Today’s What I want Wednesday involves a pair of shoes I’ve been lusting after for almost a year.

I want these pumps in Cognac, and they just went on sale from $80 to $60. Woe is me for being on a budget (and also currently being way over budget).

Sigh.

My first What I Want Wednesday!

I am in love. Sigh. This dress is just beyond beautiful and I want it so much! I also have a code to get an additional 25% off the Sale price, knocking it down to $250. This is why budgets are the worst. Also, where could I ever wear this thing?
